How Smart Links work

A Smart Link is a single short link (go.affi.link/yourcode) that can send different visitors to different destinations, based on rules you set — instead of everyone landing on the same page.

Every link has a default destination. On top of that, you can add targeting rules (called conditions) — for example, "visitors from Canada go here instead." When someone clicks your link, affi.link checks your rules from top to bottom and sends the visitor to the first one that matches. If nothing matches, they land on the default destination.

What you can target by

  • Country — available on every plan.
  • Device type, browser, operating system, language, and date range — available on Pro and Business (see plan comparison).

Rules are evaluated in order, so put your most specific rules first. You can drag and drop rules to reorder them on a link's targeting page.

Why this matters: a US-only landing page shown to a UK visitor is a sale you've already lost before they even see your offer. One link that adapts automatically means you never have to hand out five different URLs for five different audiences.
