Smart links with targeting rules

One short link, many destinations — the right one for each visitor.

A Smart Link isn't one fixed destination — it's a short URL with its own set of routing rules attached. Every time someone clicks it, Affi.link checks the visitor's country, device type, browser, operating system, and language (in that order, top to bottom) against the rules you've set up, and sends them to the first matching destination. If nothing matches, they get your link's plain default destination.

How it works

You build rules from the link's own targeting page: pick one or more conditions (a country, a device type, a date range, and — on higher plans — device/browser/OS/language combinations) and a destination URL for each. Rules are evaluated top to bottom, so more specific rules should sit above broader ones. You can drag to reorder them at any time, and every rule can be edited or removed without affecting the others.

You can also schedule a rule to only apply within a date range — useful for a seasonal promotion or a limited-time redirect that should automatically stop applying once it ends, without you needing to remember to turn it off.

Good to know

Free accounts get country-based targeting. Device, browser, operating system, and language conditions, plus scheduled date ranges, are available on Pro and up.
