If your audience is international — and on YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram, it almost always is — a single affiliate link to one Amazon storefront is quietly costing you money. A viewer in Germany who lands on amazon.com either can't check out at all, or buys through a listing that doesn't credit you.
A smart affiliate link solves this by making the destination conditional instead of fixed. One link, shared everywhere, that resolves differently depending on who clicks it.
How it works
When someone clicks your Affi.link short link, we look at:
- Country — detected from the visitor's IP, routed to the matching storefront (amazon.com, amazon.de, amazon.co.uk, and 11 more marketplaces) with your affiliate tag for that country attached
- Device type — send mobile traffic to a mobile-optimized destination if you want one
- Language — route by browser language when country alone isn't enough
- A date range — schedule a link to point somewhere different during a sale window, then revert automatically
All of this is configured once, on one link. You never paste a different URL into a different platform for a different country again.
What this actually looks like
Why it matters for commission, not just convenience
Amazon's affiliate programs are country-specific — a US tag earns nothing on a German sale, and vice versa. Every visitor who lands on the wrong storefront without a matching tag is a sale you don't get credit for, even if they buy. Routing traffic to the correct storefront with the correct tag is the difference between "my international audience doesn't convert" and actually getting paid for the traffic you already have.
Beyond Amazon
Targeting rules aren't Amazon-specific — they apply to any destination URL. Point different countries or devices at completely different retailers, your own site, or a region-specific landing page, all from the same short link.
Getting started
Paste any destination URL, add targeting rules for the countries or devices that matter to you, and your link is live. No code, no redirects to manage yourself, no separate tool per platform.
