If you need to hand your workspace over to someone else — an active member, not billing itself — you can transfer ownership from the Team page's Danger Zone.
How it works
- Open Team → Transfer ownership.
- Choose an active member to become the new Owner.
- Confirm — billing and full control move to them immediately, and you become an Admin on the workspace instead of Owner.
One restriction: you can't transfer ownership to someone who already has their own active subscription elsewhere — since an account can only be billed for one plan at a time, there'd be no way to resolve which subscription should apply.
This is different from just leaving a workspace — if you want to remove yourself without handing anything over, use Leave workspace instead, available to any member (not the Owner).
