Requiring approval for Members' links

On Business, you can require that any link a Member creates gets reviewed before it goes live — Owners and Admins are trusted by default and are never held back by this.

Turning it on

  1. Open Team and find the Link approvals card.
  2. Switch on Require approval for links created by Members.

From then on, a link a Member creates is held as Pending approval — it doesn't resolve for visitors, and the Member can't manually activate it — until an Owner or Admin approves it.

Reviewing pending links

Owners and Admins get a Pending Approvals item in the sidebar (with a count badge) whenever there's something waiting. From there:

  • Approve — the link goes live immediately, exactly as if approval had never been required.
  • Reject — optionally leave a note explaining why. The link stays off, and the Member can edit it and hit Resubmit for approval on the link's own page to send it back through review.

Both the Member and every Admin (plus you) get notified by email and in-app whenever a link is submitted, approved, or rejected.

Requiring approval is available on Business (see plan comparison). If you downgrade, links already awaiting review or already approved keep exactly the status they had — only the setting itself turns off, so newly created links stop needing approval.
